Bachelor of Accounting

The Bachelor of Accounting is a single course with a specific focus. Students maintain the accounting specialisation for the six semester duration, studying four subjects per semester. The course comprises three streams of academic study: Corporate Identity, Accounting Principles and Practice, and Business Environment.

The exit points are:

• Diploma of Accounting – 1 year course – 8 core subjects
• Associate Degree of Accounting – 2 year course – 16 subjects

Bachelor of Business

The Bachelor of Business comprises three options, allowing exit points at:

1. Diploma of Business – 1 year course – 8 core subjects

2. Associate Degree of Business – 2 year course – 16 subjects

3. Bachelor of Business – 3 year course – 24 subjects with options to specialise (majors) and/or take minors in several disciplines

• Major in Management
• Major in  Human Resources
• Double Majors

International Students Required Study Load:

International students are required to study 20 hours per week over the full duration of their selected course. This is a combination of studies.

During the mandatory 20 hours study time, students can not take less than 2 subjects per term.

Contact hours are the total number of hours in the term students are scheduled to attend classes for teaching purposes, course-related information sessions, supervised study sessions and examinations.

Students are advised to take a maximum of 5 subjects per semester, to avoid being overwhelmed.
